Greetings, welcome to my personal website. You're probably a fellow data scientist, a slightly interested employer, or someone really lost on the internet. At the moment, I am a Master's Student at Brown University studying Data Science - I'm also a Software Engineering Intern at Ploomber.

I am embedded with two research teams at Brown. First, I am working on a joint Harvard, U-Chicago, and Brown team investigating the socioeconomic determinants of police-related killings in the United States. Second, I am researching Autoregressive, Bayesian, and Convolutional Neural Network architectures to build a digital-asset pricing model for algorithmic trading. In the past, I have worked with ML and DL models to study geospatial modeling, socioeconomic inequality, and natural language processing problems.

Before taking up ML, I studied Economics, Statistics, and Business as an undergraduate at UNC-Chapel Hill (go tarheels). I worked in the legal and operations/supply chain fields, both domestically and abroad. If you care about issues pertaining to environmental justice, I wrote a thesis on the likelihood of overpollution in disenfranchised areas.

If I'm not coding, I'm probably cooking a meal. This website hosts a few meals that haven't set off smoke alarms over the years.
